Adam likes to support Children's Charities!
With over €40,000 raised for charity through ongoing donations from the sale of my books This year I thought we could do something really amazing and help Families whose lives have been ireversibly changed through childhood illness or loss while at the same time creating a magical warm Christmassy feeling for everyone.
What Charities Benefit?
Because of the inspiration behind my books, I have picked 4 charities that help families affected by childhood illness and loss. Over the years each time I publish a book I allocate a charity to be the benefactor of the 2% of world wide sales proceeds. Here is a brief introduction to the charities I work with and support.
Barretstown is a specially-designed camp that provides Therapeutic Recreation programmes for children with serious illnesses and their families. Barretstown’s mission is to rebuild the lives of children affected by serious illness.
LauraLynn is Ireland’s only children’s hospice. We provide much-needed respite, home support and end-of-life care for children with life limiting conditions and their families. When life is short, two things become very important to families: the quality of life and making the most of every day…….every moment counts.
Make-A-Wish® Ireland has one simple aim – We grant the wishes of children aged between 3 and 17 years living with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strengh and joy.
