What is it about kids and pirates? Whether it’s girls or boys, flamboyant tales of their thrilling voyages have always captivated children’s imaginations. The allure of exotic adventures in far-flung colourful lands in search of riches and priceless treasure steeped in legend and mystical powers sets their pulse racing.

Knowing the positive impact pirates have had on my own childhood memories, my imagination and ultimately my sense of adventure and romance in life I just had to make sure Adam brought a little bit of this magic to all his little reader friends in the hope that it might just create a little spark of inspiration and adventure inside their little tummy’s.
